19th Annual Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch

The Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch is an afternoon of inspiration, connection, and impact. Set in the beautiful Millennium Event Center, the event will feature thoughtfully curated lunches from some of our community's favorite local restaurants, followed by an inspiring keynote address from author, speaker, and autism advocate Tiffany Hammond. Together, attendees will celebrate the many ways people connect and communicate in keeping with this year's theme, Communication Beyond Words.

Tiffany Hammond is a writer, storyteller, and advocate dedicated to promoting inclusion and the belief that communication is a fundamental human right. Diagnosed as autistic in adulthood, she is the New York Times bestselling author of A Day with No Words and the founder of Fidgets and Fries. Through her writing and speaking, Tiffany inspires audiences with powerful conversations about disability advocacy, neurodivergent identity, and the many ways people connect and communicate.

The Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch is both a fundraising and "friend"-raising event. It is free to attend to ensure accessibility for all, and we hope our guests will be inspired to support ABC of NC through philanthropy, volunteerism, or by sharing our mission with others. This special event is made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and restaurant partners.
